Lyophilization, or freeze drying, is a common laboratory technique used in a wide range of applications. Tissues, vaccines, food, chemical compounds, circuit boards, artifacts and more can all be preserved using this technique. However, the ultimate question remains, "How do we keep our samples safe once they are lyophilized?" Proper sample storage is equally as important as proper drying and can sometimes present far more challenging hurdles to overcome. This webinar will examine the intricacies of preserving traditional and nontraditional samples in the lab and introduce new, emerging methods of sample preservation.
