Protector XL I-S Benchtop Laboratory Hoods are general chemistry hoods that offer superior design flexibility. They are available in widths from 3 to 8 feet and two depths to meet a variety of installation and application requirements.

Designed for use with Intelli-Sense Multi-Speed Blowers, Protector XL I-S Benchtop Hoods feature integrated sash position blower controls. As the sash is raised or lowered, sensors alert the blower to change speeds to maintain a safe face velocity. That face velocity is displayed on the factory-installed Guardian™ Digital Airflow Monitor for users’ peace of mind.

These hoods are suitable for providing personal protection needed for general chemistry applications involving fumes and vapors. They meet the SEFA-1 standard of a low velocity, high performance hood and may be safely operated as low as 60 fpm.
