Sample concentration and solvent recovery are procedures of vital importance in the laboratory today. The equipment used for these procedures utilizes various mechanical and chemical principles to accomplish these tasks. This informational one and a half-day seminar will allow service representatives the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the theories behind this equipment and give them the knowledge to diagnose common repair problems.
The session will begin with a brief overview on the basics of lyophilization (freeze drying) and sample concentration. It will cover the theory, pressure/temperature relationships and common laboratory applications and equipment. The main focus of this seminar will be to provide attendees with interactive hands-on demonstrations on how to install, operate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair both freeze dry and concentration systems.
Labconco will provide lunch, both days, and dinner on the first day. Special parking is provided for Seminar Attendee’s.
