How much glassware will fit in my washer?

Labconco Glassware Washers have been proven to clean tough, viscous, dried on dirt and grime from laboratory glassware, but how much glassware can really fit inside a Labconco Glassware Washer?

The answer depends on a couple of things:

What glassware washer do you have?

  • Labconco FlaskScrubber and Vantage® Series Washers include a lower spindle rack with 36 spindles for narrow-neck glassware. Add an optional upper rack for even greater capacity.
  • Labconco SteamScrubber includes an upper and lower open rack for wide mouth glassware.
  • Interchangeable racks on both washers allow flexibility in any laboratory.
  • A variety of inserts are available for customization of any glassware washer.

What type of glassware do you typically wash?

  • Size matters. A 1L beaker will take up more space than a 25ml beaker, for example.
  • If pipettes are used, the upper rack is removed.
