Inside Sales Representative

Location: Kansas City, MO

Labconco is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our Domestic Sales team. This role is responsible for development of new prospects, qualification of leads, creating and closing quotes for Labconco's world class lab equipment. A successful person will be a self starter hungry for success, with an interest in life sciences. 


  • Maintain and grow sales in assigned territories.
  • Take ownership of Opportunities and Leads in partnership with the domestic field sales team to close sales.
  • Provide technical support and training remotely, as needed by customers and dealer partners. 
  • Communicate with customers to understand their needs and match them with an appropriate Labconco products.
  • Establish relationships with Labconco dealers in assigned territories and use this understanding to select dealers for sales opportunities. 
  • Prepare and send quotes to Labconco dealers, and subsequently follow up with dealers and customers to find out the status of the sale. 
  • Utilize the CRM to track the progress of a sale, as well as match orders with CRM opportunities.
  • Stay informed about Labconco products to answer customer and dealer questions. 
  • Attend periodic sales training and meetings including National Sales Meetings.


  • Bachelor's degree from four year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
