CE Marking

CE Mark
CE Mark

The CE mark indicates a product conforms to all safety and other directives/specifications presently required by the Council of European Communities. The CE mark was established in 1993 to standardize European countries’ electrical directives into a single set of regulations, eliminating barriers to trade. Present rules require that products meet electrical safety requirements set for laboratory equipment and also pass rigorous electromagnetic emissions testing (interference signals being output by the product) and electromagnetic immunity testing (the product should not respond to outside electromagnetic interference signals).
