Purifier Biological Safety Cabinets Workshops

Registration is closed for both workshops.

Workshop Dates: September 15-16, 2008

Overview

Designed for certifiers and personnel who monitor and service biological safety cabinets, this two day workshop offers opportunities to learn about NSF International Standard 49, laminar airflow technology and receive hands-on training with Labconco Purifier Class II Type A2 and Purifier Class II, Type B2 Total Exhaust, Biological Safety Cabinets and Class I Safety Enclosures.

From the workshop, you will gain a working knowledge of the theory of operation, certification, testing, and servicing of Labconco's biological safety cabinets. Emphasis will be placed on the maintenance and repair of all safety enclosures.

Labconco introduced the Purifier® Logic™ Class II Biological Safety Cabinet in late 2007. Logic signifies change and these new NSF-Listed cabinets embody change in three significant areas: safety, performance and ergonomics. This workshop provides an opportunity for Labconco instructors to share information about this newest generation cabinet with our servicers.

In addition to the Purifier Logic cabinets, we will also provide technical information on our Purifier Class I Safety Enclosures, HEPA Filtered Enclosures and XPert Balance Enclosures.

Instructors include:
Jim Hunter - Labconco Project Engineer - HEPA Filtered Product Group
