Asia Sales Manager
Kansas City, MO
We are seeking a sales professional with a minimum of 2 years outside sales experience selling abroad. The territory involved would be the Asian countries such as China, South Korea and Japan. Labconco manufactures ventilation & scientific equipment for the laboratory market and sells through distributors. Position would be Kansas City based with up to 50% travel abroad. The ideal candidate will be experienced in selling capital equipment through distribution. Experience with the Asian markets preferred. Background in biotech, life sciences, biology and/or chemistry a plus. Requires strong relationship building skills. Asian language skills a plus.
Website Marketing Coordinator
Kansas City, MO
This position will be responsible maintaining Labconco's website by working with provider; monitoring website activity and popularity by analyzing and reporting traffic activity and search engine placement quarterly; handle website registration leads by immediately notifying Labconco representatives of high potential leads and sending weekly reports to lead entry and fulfillment vendor; act as a key liaison with lead entry and fulfillment vendor; and provide additional help, including writing and production of printed material, as requested by the Marketing Communications Manager.
This position requires: a BA or BS in Journalism, Advertising, Communications or English; attention to detail, strong writing skills, strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize; an ability to build and maintain relationships; and a proficiency in Quark Xpress, In-Design and PhotoShop.
Regional Sales Manager
Kansas City, MO
Labconco is seeking a seasoned sales professional to manager the sales activity of 6 sales representatives in the western region of the U.S. and Western Canada. Labconco manufactures ventilations & scientific equipment for the laboratory market and sells through distributors. Position would be Kansas City based with approximately 35 to 40% travel. BS degree in science or a technical related field and previous managerial sales experience in the scientific industry is preferred. Previous capital equipment sales experience through distribution channels would be a plus. Requires strong relationship building skills.
Product Specialist
Kansas City, MO
Labconco is seeking a product specialist to manage a portfolio of ventilation equipment. Ideal candidate will have a BS in science with laboratory experience. Incumbent will manage a portfolio of safety ventilation products, analyze markets and competition, identify new products and provide application support. Knowledge of marketing and promotion is preferred. An MBA is highly preferred. 10-20% travel. Excellent salary plus benefits and profit sharing.
